Some Highlights From The Trip

The ''Welcoming Committee'' for Jordan Hay Farm...

My aunt's creative touch to the new barn.

Always lots of kitties!!

My Grandma (also known to all the grandkids as ''Nana'' or ''Oma'')- So glad to see her again!!

Couldn't help but notice during the conversation how similar both my mother and grandmother's hands looked.

Road Trip!

Pictures from the trip down to Prosser, Wa

Poor mom...she's spent too much time with us student drivers...she was kind of freaking out when I took this since Dad was getting a bit close to the alleged truck. Still a good photo-op though!

A Tribute To One Of God's Best Creations: Coffee

Coffee reminds me of some of the nearest and dearest things in my life: morning chats with my mom, deep conversations with life-long friends and afternoons spent at my great-grandparents house. (They are now in their 80's but, being Dutch, their house continues to always smells of strong coffee and they almost always have a pot of it brewing and ready for anyone who is ready to sit down and visit).

Jenna's Senior Pictures

Just a fun practice run with Jenna's senior pictures. Lots of fun!!

Of course it wouldn't be complete without a sister!!

My All In All

''For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit...and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.'' ~Hebrews 4:12

''I wait for the Lord, my soul waits and in His Word I put my hope.'' Psalm 130:5

''But I will sing of Your strength, in the morning I will sing of Your love; for You are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.'' Psalm 59:16

''I'd like to add some beauty to life...I don't exactly want to make people know more...though I know that is the noblest ambition. But I'd love to make them have a pleasanter time because of me...to have some little joy or happy thought that would never have existed if I hadn't been born.''

"You will keep in perfect peace, him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in You."
Isaiah 26:3

This is what the Lord says: ''Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls." Jeremiah 6:16

''Come unto me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest'' Matthew 11:28
